"A Box in the Mail" A box in the mail. What could there be in this rectangle shape mailed to me? Open it slow? No, my style's not that 'cause something's inside that I must get at. "Styrofoam peanuts?", I thought to myself, Then I saw a neat figure who looked like an elf. A carved Santa gnome, but that isn't all- 'Twas a nutcracker figure eight inches tall. A wonderful gift with fine emphasis So my "Thanks" I proclaim to friend Sharon Kiss. Your thoughtful expression that just came my way Will be part of our Christmas this holiday. Feel free to share this if you'd like but please let be known that it's from the pen of Ol' Don |
